Inquiry question :How can I train my eyes to draw

If you can see at the top of the stapler I tried to shade it but I couldn't

Reflection:a blind drawing is you keep looking at picture and not at the paper and you cannot let your pencil leave the paper you are supposed to concentrate on the picture/thing.
